Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, Wize Computing Academy franchisees must be in substantial compliance with their obligations during the initial term and at the time of renewal. They must provide written notice of their intent to renew 90 to 180 days before the initial term expires. Franchisees will be required to sign a new Franchise Agreement and any other companion agreements then in effect, which may have materially different terms and conditions, though the territory boundaries will remain the same and the continuing royalty will not be higher than for similarly-situated renewing franchisees. A renewal fee of 10% of the then-current Initial Franchise Fee for new franchisees in a comparable territory is due 30 days before renewal. Additionally, if operating from a commercial facility, the franchisee must remodel or refurbish it to meet current standards specified in the Operations Manual. A general release of the franchisor from all claims is also required.
