Financial Health Notes
The franchisor, LP Franchising, LLC, has financial statements that indicate recurring net losses from its operations during the year ended December 31, 2024. The company's members intend to provide additional financial advances to fund operating activities if there isn't enough working capital to cover expenses. Management believes that future cash flow from operations and continued financial support from its members will allow the company to operate profitably. Despite this, a special risk highlighted in the document notes that the franchisor's financial condition raises questions about its ability to provide services and support to franchisees.
Financing Details
Window Hero does not offer any direct or indirect financing to its franchisees. This means that franchisees will need to secure their own funding for the franchise fee, equipment, and other startup costs through third-party lenders or other financial sources. Window Hero also does not guarantee any notes, leases, or other financial obligations incurred by its franchisees.

Agreement Terms
Initial Term
10 years
Renewal Term

Renewal Conditions
To renew their Window Hero franchise agreement, franchisees must provide written notice of their intent to renew between 12 to 18 months before the current term expires. They must show they can operate the business at an approved location for the new term, or find a new acceptable site if needed. Franchisees must also update all required equipment, supplies, software, and vehicles, and refurbish their business premises to meet Window Hero's current standards for new franchisees, completing this 90 days before expiration. Additionally, they must not be in breach of any agreements with Window Hero or its affiliates, have timely met all financial obligations, and execute Window Hero's then-current franchise agreement (which may have different terms, including higher fees). Franchisees also need to meet current training requirements, maintain all necessary licenses and permits, sign a general release, and pay a renewal fee of $5,000 for the first renewed agreement, and $1,000 for each additional agreement renewed simultaneously under a multi-unit addendum. Window Hero may also require territory resizing into multiple territories as a condition of renewal.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Before opening, Window Hero helps franchisees define their operating territory, provides site selection guidelines (initially allowing a home office or storage facility for 12 months, then requiring a leased office/warehouse of 500-1500 sq ft), delivers initial training, and grants access to its Operations Manual. Window Hero also provides lists of approved suppliers for initial inventory and equipment, offers general advice during startup, approves the business opening (typically 30-90 days after agreement signing), and provides a dedicated phone number. After opening, Window Hero manages a Brand Fund for system-wide advertising, reviews franchisee-developed advertising materials, and may provide additional consulting services on request (fees apply for in-person support outside their office). The company conducts mandatory and optional ongoing training (fees for optional), including an annual conference, and may require remedial training if performance standards are not met. Window Hero also updates its System standards, manages its Call Center and Business Management and Technology System (which routes customer inquiries), evaluates alternative suppliers (for a fee), assists with relocation reviews (for a fee), and offers ongoing advice via various communication methods.

Ongoing Support
After opening, Window Hero franchisees receive ongoing support through various channels. Window Hero reviews any advertising materials created by franchisees and manages a system-wide Brand Fund for advertising. Franchisees can request additional consulting services, which may be provided through printed materials, an Intranet, meetings, webinars, or in person (in-person services outside of the franchisor's office may incur fees and expenses). Window Hero also schedules mandatory and optional additional training programs, including an annual conference that franchisees are required to attend (with a registration fee and travel expenses). The company continuously updates its System, Operations Manuals, approved products, services, and suppliers. It manages a centralized Call Center and Business Management and Technology System to handle customer inquiries. Additionally, Window Hero evaluates alternate suppliers for a fee and provides ongoing advice and guidance through meetings, materials, phone, and email, with on-site assistance potentially incurring fees and expenses.

Territory Size Requirements
Window Hero typically defines a Designated Territory based on approximately 75,000 owner-occupied households, but this can vary depending on local geography, demographics, and other factors. Territories may be outlined using zip codes, streets, natural or man-made landmarks, or county lines. The population data used for defining territories comes from public sources like the U.S. Census Bureau or commercial data. For an additional fee, a territory can be expanded to include up to an extra 25,000 Qualified Households.
Staffing Notes
Window Hero estimates that a typical franchise will start with 1 to 4 employees, including a salesperson and either subcontracted service labor or a crew of 2-3 people. The franchised business must always have at least one individual on staff who has successfully completed Window Hero's Initial Training Program. If the franchisee chooses to hire a Designated Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, that manager must be approved by Window Hero in writing and successfully complete the Initial Training Program before starting their managerial duties. Designated Managers are not allowed to hold other employment or engage in other business activities while serving in that role for Window Hero.
