Wallaby Windows provides several types of assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, the company offers initial training for up to three individuals (Operating Principal, Manager, and Salesperson) at its headquarters, covering instruction and materials. If additional opening assistance is requested and deemed necessary, franchisees can receive it, but they must reimburse Wallaby Windows for expenses and a potential service fee. Wallaby Windows also sells a vehicle graphics package, ladder, window samples, and tools, and provides supplier names for other equipment. Ongoing support includes making additional training programs available, reviewing and approving all promotional materials and advertising, administering the Brand Fund for system-wide advertising, and providing periodic assistance in marketing, management, and operations. Franchise Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Wallaby Windows seeks franchisees who are individual owners willing to serve as an Operating Principal with at least a 20% equity interest in the franchise. This Operating Principal must have authority over all business decisions and oversee all business matters, though not necessarily daily operational involvement. Franchisees must also appoint a full-time Manager and Salesperson (the Operating Principal may serve as one, but not both, if they have sufficient experience). The business is not intended for absentee or semi-absentee ownership; franchisees must be prepared to devote substantial time and attention to the business.
