Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. franchisees must have substantially complied with all material provisions of the Franchise Agreement throughout its term. They must have the right to remain in possession of an approved location for the renewal term, made necessary capital expenditures to maintain uniformity with the System's current standards, satisfied all monetary obligations to UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. or its affiliates, and not be in default of any agreement. Franchisees must provide written notice of renewal 9 to 12 months before the initial term ends, sign the then-current Franchise Agreement (which may have different terms), comply with current qualifications and training requirements, execute a general release of claims against UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. and its affiliates, and pay a renewal fee of $25,000 per territory.

Franchisor Assistance
UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. provides extensive support to its franchisees. Before opening, UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. helps with designating a protected territory, site selection, lease approval, and providing standard plans for building out the business. Franchisees and up to three additional people receive an initial training program of about four days covering sales, marketing, operations, financial controls, and customer service. Additionally, UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. offers up to three days of on-site assistance for the business opening and provides an Operations Manual. Ongoing support includes periodic guidance via phone, email, and newsletters, discretionary visits for consultation, additional training as needed, updates to the System, and suggested pricing. UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. also provides local advertising guidelines, reviews advertisements, administers a Brand Fund, may create Cooperative Advertising programs, and manages the company website and mobile application. Franchisees are required to use designated information technology equipment and UNITS Operating Software, for which training is provided, and UNITS Franchising Group, Inc. Inc. has full access to franchisee data.

Staffing Notes
Each UNITS Business must operate under the direct full-time supervision of a Designated Manager, who may be the franchisee if an individual, or an appointed individual if the franchisee is a business entity.
