Renewal Conditions
To renew their Tint World franchise, franchisees must provide written notice at least 12 months before the current term ends. They must be in full compliance with the franchise agreement and all other agreements, and all financial obligations must be paid on time. Franchisees are also required to maintain the right to possess their approved location, remodel and upgrade the center to meet current brand standards, and sign a new franchise agreement which may have different terms. A renewal fee of 25% of the then-current initial franchise license fee is also required, along with a general release of claims against Tint World.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Before a Tint World center opens, the company provides support with site selection, real estate broker designation, lease review, and guidance on prototype plans and brand standards. Tint World also assists with obtaining initial insurance, business setup, construction build-out, and ordering the initial Startup Package of equipment and supplies. New franchisees and up to two managers receive an 18-day Introductory Training Program at the corporate headquarters. Additionally, Tint World helps with grand opening events, including pre-opening team assistance for up to five days at the center. After opening, Tint World provides ongoing advisory assistance and guidance on operations, sales, and marketing. Territory Size Requirements
Tint World grants a Designated Territory around each Center Location. For most locations, this territory is a circle with a two-mile radius (four-mile diameter) centered on the franchise. In urban and densely populated areas, the Designated Territory may be smaller, determined on a site-specific basis by Tint World.
Staffing Notes
Tint World requires franchisees to always staff their centers with a sufficient number of competent and properly trained employees. Franchisees are solely responsible for all hiring decisions, including compensation, training, supervision, and discipline. At least one employee at each Tint World center must obtain and maintain certification from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) for the services performed. If personnel changes, new staff must obtain these certifications within a reasonable period, not exceeding one year.
