To renew, Square Cow Franchise Family, LLC franchisees must give written notice between 7 and 12 months before the initial term ends. They are required to renovate and modernize their Square Cow Business, including repairing or replacing any necessary equipment, signs, decor, fixtures, furnishings, supplies, and materials to reflect the then-current System standards and image. Franchisees must not be in default of their franchise agreement or any other agreements with the franchisor or its affiliates, and must have timely satisfied all monetary obligations. They must also provide evidence of their right to remain in possession of the Franchise Location for the entire renewal term or obtain consent for a new site, and execute the franchisor's then-current form of successor franchise agreement. A general release of claims against the franchisor and its affiliates is required, along with a successor fee of $5,000. Finally, franchisees must comply with the franchisor's then-current qualification and training requirements.
