Financial Health Notes
The FDD includes a special risk disclosure indicating that SHACK SHINE's financial condition, as reflected in its financial statements, calls into question its financial ability to provide services and support to franchisees. While the audited financial statements received an unqualified opinion from the independent auditors, this highlighted risk suggests potential concerns regarding SHACK SHINE's ongoing financial capacity to support its franchise system.
Financing Details
SHACK SHINE does not offer direct or indirect financing to its franchisees. The franchisor explicitly states that it does not guarantee any debts, leases, or other obligations for franchisees. However, SHACK SHINE may introduce prospective franchisees to third-party financing sources, such as Manchester Lease Services Inc., which offers vehicle leases. Manchester Lease Services Inc. is not affiliated with SHACK SHINE. This third-party lease typically requires a 5-20% deposit, finances up to $64,000 for vehicles and outfitting, has terms of 1-5 years, and interest rates of prime plus 3.5%.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate financial capability through annual financial statements and possess 3 to 6 months of operating capital. Territory Size Requirements
SHACK SHINE territories are defined by geographic areas, with each subterritory having a minimum population of 150,000 based on the most recently published U.S. Census Bureau data. A typical SHACK SHINE franchise generally consists of two of these subterritories.
Staffing Notes
SHACK SHINE requires franchisees to dedicate sufficient time to hiring and training. The franchisee's Principal Operator must understand operations to train technicians. Initially, the franchisee works with a Lead Technician as a crew, with the goal of the Lead Technician becoming independent within one month. After the Lead Technician is independent, a second Technician is hired and trained. The franchisee or an Operations Manager trains new Technicians alongside the Lead Technician. The franchisee's focus then shifts to marketing and sales, as the team becomes capable of operating effectively on their own.
