The franchised business must be refurbished to conform to the then-current Roni's Mac Bar trade dress, color schemes, and System Standards. Franchisees must also sign the franchisor's then-current form of franchise agreement, which may have different terms, pay a renewal fee of $20,000, and comply with current Roni's Mac Bar qualifications and training requirements.

Franchisor Assistance
Roni's Mac Bar Franchising, LLC provides various forms of assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, the franchisor approves the site, provides building specifications, reviews design plans, and offers standards for decor, equipment, and supplies. They also provide a list of approved products and services and give final written approval before the business opens. Franchises receive 7 days of free on-site assistance upon opening, and the franchisor approves the Designated Manager. Initial training and a loan of the Operating Manual are also provided. After opening, Roni's Mac Bar Franchising, LLC continues to approve relocation sites, provides updated standards for equipment and products, and offers ongoing initial training for replacement staff and managers. Notably, if a franchised business's Gross Revenues do not reach $200,000 in the first six months, the franchisor will reinvest the initial franchise fee and work one-on-one with the franchisee. They also may offer additional training, host annual conferences, investigate client disputes, provide continuing advisory assistance, review advertising materials, recommend pricing, and approve replacement Designated Managers.
