Renewal Conditions
To renew, Rocket Fizz franchisees must notify the franchisor 6 to 9 months before their agreement expires, have fully complied with all obligations during the initial term, and be in good standing. They must also agree to renovate their Rocket Fizz Shop to meet current standards for new locations, sign the franchisor's then-current franchise agreement (which may have different terms), satisfy current training requirements, pay a renewal fee, sign a general release, and provide a guarantee signed by all equity owners and their spouses if the franchisee is an entity.

Franchisor Assistance
Rocket Fizz provides franchisees with pre-opening support including optional site selection assistance, site design specifications, and oversight for buildout and construction. They also offer an initial training program for up to three people (Principal Owner and General Manager included) and provide on-site opening assistance for 3-4 days for the franchisee's first Rocket Fizz Shop. After opening, ongoing assistance includes regular consultation and advice on administrative and operating issues, additional and remedial training programs, continued access to and updates for the Rocket Fizz Manuals, and periodic inspections of the Rocket Fizz Shop. The franchisor also designates authorized products, sells continuing inventory through its affiliate, and may provide pricing guidelines.

After opening, Rocket Fizz franchisees receive ongoing consultation and advice in response to their inquiries. The franchisor also designates authorized products, sells continuing inventory through its affiliate, and may offer pricing guidelines. Post-opening inspections are conducted to ensure compliance. Franchisees are required to attend an annual Franchise Conference.

Rocket Fizz seeks creditworthy individuals who will serve as the Principal Owner, dedicating their full time to the Rocket Fizz Shop's operations and holding at least a 50% ownership interest in the franchise. The ideal candidate must be responsible for all operational decisions, including hiring, training, and managing employees, demonstrating strong management capabilities and adherence to high standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct.

Territory Size Requirements
Rocket Fizz franchisees are granted a protected territory generally equal to a radius of 1 to 5 miles (or more) from their Rocket Fizz Shop. The exact size of the protected area is established on a case-by-case basis upon approval of the franchised location.
Staffing Notes
Rocket Fizz franchisees are solely responsible for all hiring and employment decisions, including hiring, firing, training, and setting compensation for their employees. The Rocket Fizz Shop must always be under the direct control of either the Principal Owner (who must work full-time in the business) or a fully trained General Manager or other supervisory/managerial personnel. Franchisees are responsible for ensuring their staff is competent, conscientious, and trained to maintain good customer relations and provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service. Employees are required to wear Rocket Fizz career apparel.
