Renewal Conditions
To renew, Mrs. Fields Franchising, LLC franchisees may renew for one additional 10-year term if they provide written notice between 90 and 180 days before the current term expires. They must sign the then-current Franchise Agreement, which might have materially different terms, and execute a general release of any and all claims. Franchisees are required to refurbish, remodel, redecorate, and renovate their store to meet current brand standards at the start of the renewal term. They must have complied with all terms of their agreements and maintained good standing throughout the initial term, paid all outstanding monetary obligations to Mrs. Fields Franchising, LLC, its affiliates, or suppliers, and must retain the premises for the renewal term. A renewal fee, which is 20% of the then-current initial franchise fee, is also required. Additionally, franchisees must follow the current renewal process, including any requirements for extra training and submitting specific financial statements and records.
