Renewal Conditions
To renew, Mr. Duct Cleaner franchisees must notify the franchisor in writing at least 180 days before their current agreement expires. They must be current on all monetary obligations to Mr. Duct Cleaner and its suppliers, and not be in default of any agreement. Franchisees are required to update their vehicles, equipment, and staff to meet Mr. Duct Cleaner's then-current standards and successfully complete any mandatory retraining programs. They must also sign Mr. Duct Cleaner's then-current standard Franchise License Agreement, which may include different terms, and execute a general release of claims against the franchisor. Additionally, franchisees need to provide proof of required insurance, ensure business vehicles are properly painted and decaled, and submit recent financial statements and tax returns if requested. A renewal fee, which is 20% of the then-current initial franchise fee, must be paid 90 days before the renewal period begins. Failure to complete these requirements by the expiration date may result in a $1,000 fee to extend the agreement for an additional 30 days.

Mr. Duct Cleaner may also hold annual conventions, group meetings, and offer refresher training programs. Furthermore, Mr. Duct Cleaner develops marketing and advertising programs, provides and hosts franchisee websites, and maintains a Call Center for lead dispatch.
