Corporate History
MilliCare Floor & Textile Care's business traces its origins back to 1967 when Sylvan Chemical Co., Inc. was formed, operating the MilliCare business as a division. In 2011, Milliken Services, LLC was formed as a predecessor, spinning off the MilliCare business. From 2011 to 2021, Milliken Services, LLC was the franchisor. In 2021, MilliCare, Inc. (the current franchisor's parent) acquired the assets of the MilliCare Floor & Textile Care franchise system. MilliCare Franchising, LLC was then formed on January 31, 2022, and began offering franchises on February 16, 2022. MilliCare Franchising, LLC is part of EverSmith Brands, which is controlled by The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm that also manages several other franchise systems.

Financial Health Notes
MilliCare Floor & Textile Care's FDD highlights a special risk regarding its guarantor's financial condition, stating that it "calls into question the franchisor's financial ability to provide services and support to you." The consolidated financial statements of its parent, EverSmith Brands Holding Company, show significant net losses of $17,309,193 in 2024 and $6,443,910 in 2023. Despite these losses, the auditor issued an unqualified opinion, indicating the financial statements are presented fairly in all material respects according to GAAP. However, the explicit risk disclosure by MilliCare Floor & Textile Care itself regarding its guarantor's financial ability to provide support is a key point for potential franchisees to consider.
