Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, MedXwaste franchisees must provide written notice between 6 to 9 months before the initial term ends. They must be in substantial compliance with their franchise agreement and all other agreements with MedXwaste or its affiliates, and be current on all payments. Franchisees will also need to sign a general release, sign the then-current renewal franchise agreement (which may have substantially different terms but not higher fees than those for similarly situated renewing franchisees), and pay a renewal fee.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
MedXwaste provides franchisees with initial training on System standards, methods, and techniques, along with a Confidential Operations Manual. They assist with obtaining necessary equipment, tools, and supplies. Since it is a mobile business, there is no site selection guidance; franchisees must acquire an approved vehicle and complete training to open within 120 days. Ongoing support includes guidance on business operations, technical aspects of medical waste disposal, marketing programs, and System use. MedXwaste also helps solve specific operational problems, administers the Brand Awareness Fund, approves local advertising, provides indemnification for proper use of its marks, offers new operational standards, holds mandatory franchisee meetings, and provides promotional materials upon request.

Staffing Notes
MedXwaste franchisees are responsible for hiring and training all employees, ensuring they complete required training to meet MedXwaste's specifications. All staff, excluding owners, must be employees, not independent contractors. Franchisees must maintain enough trained employees to serve customers, meeting any minimum specified by MedXwaste. Managers and other key personnel are expected to sign confidentiality and non-competition agreements. If the franchisee does not participate in daily operations, they must employ an approved manager who has completed MedXwaste's training program. MedXwaste can require additional training for key personnel if their performance is below standards.
