Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, MaidThis franchisees must provide written notice of their intent to renew between 90 and 180 days before the current term expires. They must demonstrate their right to operate the business from the approved location for the renewal term and not be in breach of any agreements with MaidThis or its suppliers. Franchisees must also have satisfied the minimum performance requirements each year of their term and all monetary obligations. Additionally, they are required to sign MaidThis's then-current franchise agreement, satisfy current training requirements for renewing franchisees, sign a general release, and pay a renewal fee of $5,000.

Before opening, MaidThis provides franchisees with site selection guidelines and assistance, reviews and approves proposed leases, and grants access to its Operations Manual. MaidThis designates an exclusive territory for each franchisee, which is determined by factors such as the number of households, population, population density, and market conditions, using the most recent statistics and defined by metropolitan or statistical boundaries, street boundaries, zip codes, or housing subdivisions. MaidThis is not obligated to modify a franchisee's territory if the population, demographics, or number of residential rental locations change over the term of the agreement.
Staffing Notes
MaidThis franchisees are responsible for all employment decisions, including whether to engage employees or independent contractors, and must comply with all federal, state, and local hiring laws. Franchisees must personally supervise the day-to-day operations of their MaidThis Business, devoting full-time attention and best efforts. They may delegate daily management to an approved Designated Manager, who must also successfully complete the Initial Training Program. However, even with a Designated Manager, the expectation is that the franchisee will still be involved in the business's operation. Designated Managers must also devote their full time and best efforts to management and not engage in other business activities without MaidThis's written consent.
