Corporate History
Lawn Pride SPV LLC was organized as a Delaware limited liability company on December 1, 2022, and began offering franchises in January 2023. The brand's predecessor, Lawn Pride, Inc., was originally established as an Indiana corporation on March 18, 1993. This predecessor operated a lawn care business substantially similar to the current franchise until December 31, 2022, when it was acquired by Neighborly. Following the acquisition, the business operations were transferred to an affiliate, NBLY Co Ops IN SPV LLC, which continues to operate a Lawn Pride business. Lawn Pride SPV LLC does not operate businesses of the type being franchised itself, relying on its affiliate for direct operations.

Financial Health Notes
The financial statements for Lawn Pride's direct parent, Neighborly Assetco LLC, and its Manager, Neighborly Company, have received an unqualified opinion from their independent auditor, Ernst & Young LLP. No issues were raised regarding their ability to continue as a going concern. Both entities were in compliance with all debt-service coverage covenants as of December 31, 2024 and 2023, indicating a stable financial position.
Financing Details
Lawn Pride offers direct financing for a portion of the initial franchise fee to qualified prospective franchisees. The amount financed is currently limited to less than 50% of the total financial support for the business, but can be up to 70%, or even 80% if certain requirements are met. Interest rates vary based on the franchisee's credit score: 12% for scores under 600, 11% for 600-649, 10% for 650-699, and 9% for 700 or more. Franchisees must sign a promissory note and a security agreement, granting Lawn Pride a security interest in all their assets. Repayment terms range from up to 5 years for loans less than $45,000, up to 9 years for loans over $150,000. Monthly payments begin approximately 2 months after initial training. Prepayment is allowed without penalty. Lawn Pride may also finance a portion of any renewal fee for qualified franchisees at a 12% interest rate. Lawn Pride does not guarantee franchisee obligations to third parties.

Litigation Summary
Lawn Pride itself has no reportable litigation. However, two administrative orders involving its affiliates have been disclosed. In 2017, For Franchising LLC, a predecessor to an affiliate named Window Genie, and its then-president, Richard Nonelle, entered into a Consent Order with the California Commissioner of Business Oversight. The allegations concerned a failure to submit two advertisements before providing them to California residents. Without admitting liability, For Franchising LLC paid a $5,000 penalty and completed remedial training. In 2010, Molly Maid, Inc., a predecessor to another affiliate, Molly Maid, entered into a Consent Judgment with the Kansas District Attorney. This stemmed from allegations that one Molly Maid franchisee could not document background checks for certain employees and sold gift certificates after the franchise was terminated. Molly Maid denied violations but paid a civil penalty of $25,000 and reimbursed $25,175 for investigation costs, with the judgment being satisfied in 2011.
