This indicates financial difficulties that prospective franchisees should consider.

Renewal Conditions

To renew their franchise agreement, JETSET franchisees and their owners must not be in default under their current agreement or any other agreements with the franchisor or its affiliates. They must provide written notice of their intent to renew between 180 and 270 days before the current term expires. Franchisees will also need to sign the franchisor's then-current franchise agreement and all related documents, which may have materially different terms. A renewal fee of $25,000 is required, along with signing a general release of claims. Additionally, franchisees must remodel or upgrade their studio to meet the franchisor's current standards and specifications, maintain possession of their premises under their lease, and take any other actions the franchisor reasonably requires.

Training & Support Program

Franchisor Assistance

JETSET Franchising provides comprehensive support to its franchisees. Before a studio opens, the franchisor licenses the necessary intellectual property, offers access to a designated real estate company for site selection, and a preconstruction and build project management provider to assist with architectural, permitting, general contractor bids, and overall build project management. They approve the location, build-out, and design of the studio and provide access to the Brand Standards Manual. Franchisees receive written specifications for required goods and services, along with lists of approved suppliers. An initial training program is provided for the owner/operator, general manager, and the first six instructors. The franchisor also sets up a local webpage for the studio and implements a grand opening marketing program. Once the studio is operational, JETSET Franchising offers ongoing guidance and recommendations to improve marketing and operations, provides market-specific pricing, and conducts periodic training programs. They maintain a main website that lists all JETSET studios and continuously develops new exercises and fitness programs. Franchisees also receive three business email addresses. Optionally, the franchisor may develop new merchandise, negotiate discounted purchase agreements with suppliers, host national or regional conferences (with a registration fee), provide additional training upon request (for a fee), establish a franchise advisory council, and assign a business consultant for periodic reviews.
