Renewal Conditions
To renew, iSmash franchisees must provide 180 days' written notice before the initial term expires and be in full compliance with their current Franchise Agreement and all other agreements. They are required to pay a renewal fee, sign the franchisor's then-current Franchise Agreement and related renewal agreements, and execute a general release in the franchisor's favor. Franchisees must also remodel and upgrade their iSmash Center to meet current brand standards and ensure they have the legal right to continue occupying their location throughout the renewal term. All owners must personally guarantee the new renewal Franchise Agreement, which may have terms and conditions different from the original agreement.

iSmash provides various forms of assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, iSmash grants the right to operate a center and helps define the designated territory. It provides access to confidential operations manuals, offers site review and approval assistance, and supplies lists of approved vendors for various items like equipment, furniture, and signage. iSmash also identifies the franchisee's center on its website and offers initial training for the franchisee or managing owner and one manager at no additional charge. After opening, iSmash may require and provide supplemental training (for a fee) and initial training for replacement operating managers (for a fee). It also communicates operating standards, marketing standards, and updates to approved vendors. iSmash may coordinate an annual conference (with a fee) and assists with the administration of marketing funds and pricing guidance.

iSmash territories are generally defined as the smaller of a 10-mile radius from the center location (travelable by road) or an area with a population of 250,000 to 500,000 people. If an iSmash Center is located within a shopping mall or similar captive market, the designated territory may be limited to the physical boundaries of that facility.
Staffing Notes
iSmash franchisees are solely responsible for hiring, managing, and supervising their own employees. For brand protection, iSmash requires all employees to wear approved System-branded uniforms and apparel. Franchisees must also ensure that all System Supplies and Approved Services and Products are prepared, maintained, and served according to iSmash's System standards and manuals.
