Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Before a Growth Coach franchisee opens their business, The Growth Coach assists by approving territory boundaries, providing specifications for necessary equipment and supplies, offering digital advertisements and templates for marketing materials, and providing a confidential operations manual. The franchisor also offers an initial training program for up to two people. Once the business is operational, The Growth Coach provides ongoing support through telephone and email assistance, and other information and materials as needed. The franchisor also maintains a website to promote the brand and may organize regional and national meetings for franchisees.

Ongoing Support
The Growth Coach offers its franchisees ongoing support through telephone and email assistance, as needed. Within 120 days of completing initial training, franchisees must attend a two-day on-site training session conducted by an experienced Growth Coach owner in Columbus, Ohio, or Amarillo, Texas. The Growth Coach may also organize regional and national meetings and conferences to provide additional training and discuss business strategies, for which franchisees pay a registration fee. Additionally, The Growth Coach may conduct discretionary office visits to provide further operational support, with potential reimbursement for travel expenses.
Franchise Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Growth Coach seeks individuals who demonstrate an aptitude and ability to conduct a business coaching franchise, meeting the franchisor's educational, managerial, and business standards. Ideal candidates should possess a good moral character, business reputation, and credit rating, with adequate financial resources and capital to operate the business. While personal supervision by the franchisee is recommended, the business can be overseen by a manager approved by Growth Coach who has successfully completed the training program. For corporate or LLC franchisees, owners must sign personal guarantees and restrictive covenant agreements.

Territory Size Requirements
Growth Coach territories are defined by one or more contiguous postal code areas. A standard territory includes between 12,500 and 15,000 businesses. If a territory contains more than 15,000 businesses, an additional fee of $5,000 is charged for every 1,000 businesses or part thereof above that threshold.
Staffing Notes
The Growth Coach requires each franchise to be directly supervised by a manager who has been approved by The Growth Coach and successfully completed its training program. If a franchisee owns multiple locations, each must have a dedicated full-time manager or marketing employee. The Growth Coach does not require the franchisee to personally supervise the business, but it recommends doing so. Franchisees are solely responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all their staff, who are considered employees of the franchisee. The Growth Coach does not manage employment terms, salaries, or benefits for franchisee staff. Franchisees have the option to engage a third party for leased or shared employees, provided they maintain ultimate control over their workforce. Each franchisee must also establish and maintain an employee training program that complies with all applicable laws and Growth Coach standards.
