Initial Term
10 years
Renewal Conditions
To "reacquire" the franchise, Garage Force® franchisees must notify the franchisor in writing at least 180 days before their current agreement expires. They must have followed all significant terms and conditions of their agreement and operational standards, paid all money owed to Garage Force®, and agree to invest in capital expenditures to update their equipment and materials to current standards. Franchisees and their employees must complete any necessary training and agree to sign and follow Garage Force®'s then-current standard Franchise Agreement. Instead of a new Initial Fee, they will pay a Franchise Reacquisition Fee equal to 20% of the franchisor's then-current Initial Fee. The new agreement may have different terms and conditions from their original one.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Garage Force® provides a range of assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, Garage Force® designates the territory, provides electronic access to the Operations Manual, and gives a list of required equipment, supplies, and designated/approved suppliers. The franchisor also offers basic accounting and business procedures, and provides initial training for the franchisee and their General Manager. If requested within 60 days of training completion, Garage Force® will provide up to three days of on-the-job opening assistance, with franchisees reimbursing travel expenses. Ongoing support includes occasional business reviews and reports, legal protection for the Garage Force® Marks and Business System, and updates to the Operations Manual. Advisory services are available by telephone or in writing, and consulting services can be provided upon request (for a fee). For advertising, Garage Force® makes recommendations, approves franchisee-created materials, and collects Digital Marketing Fees that credit towards local advertising requirements. Franchisees also contribute to a Branding Fund, managed by the franchisor, for broader advertising and marketing efforts. Additionally, Garage Force® sets standards for computer hardware and software, and charges an annual Technology Fee for technology-related development and maintenance.
