Business Summary
Floors To Go offers a marketing and merchandising system for selling floor covering and window treatment products to consumers from its franchisees' store locations, referred to as Showrooms. The system allows franchisees to sell products from samples and then purchase merchandise from approved vendors at special negotiated prices, which helps eliminate the need for franchisees to maintain a substantial inventory. Floors To Go also provides an optional merchandising system that includes showroom design, displays, product selection, and interior signage.
Corporate History
Floors To Go, LLC was organized in Florida on June 3, 2002, initially under the name Floors To Go Acquisition, LLC, which was changed to Floors To Go, LLC on June 24, 2002. Financial Health Notes
Floors To Go's audited financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2024, 2023, and 2022 received an unqualified opinion from independent auditors, indicating that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the company's financial position and results of operations. The company shows strong liquidity with current assets significantly exceeding current liabilities. In 2024, Floors To Go had over $973,000 in cash and approximately $1.4 million in total current assets, against roughly $797,000 in total liabilities, and recorded a net income of over $1.5 million. There are no specific concerns raised about Floors To Go's ability to continue as a going concern.
Financing Details
Floors To Go does not offer direct or indirect financing arrangements to franchisees, nor does it arrange financing from other sources or guarantee franchisee obligations. The only exception is a deferred payment plan for the Initial Membership Fee. Franchisees pay $1,000 of the $10,000 Initial Membership Fee upfront, and the remaining $9,000 is paid over a five-year period through the Floors To Go CashBack Program. No interest is charged on this deferred amount.

Litigation Summary
Floors To Go has disclosed one legal matter. In 2019, the Washington State Attorney General asserted that Floors To Go's franchise agreements included clauses that restricted franchisees from soliciting or hiring employees from Floors To Go or other franchisees (known as no-recruiting provisions). Floors To Go voluntarily resolved this by entering into an Assurance of Discontinuance with the State of Washington on September 23, 2019. Floors To Go agreed to remove these provisions from future agreements, stop enforcing them in existing agreements, and work to amend existing agreements in Washington to remove the clauses. Aside from this action, Floors To Go has no other litigation to report.
Bankruptcy History
Floors To Go has no bankruptcy information required to be disclosed in this item.

Renewal Conditions
To renew their Floors To Go membership, franchisees must provide written notice at least 60 days before their current membership expires. They must be in compliance with all material terms of the Membership Agreement and any amendments, sign the then-current Floors To Go System membership agreement (which may have different terms, including fee requirements and territorial rights), and pay a renewal fee of $750. If a franchisee does not provide timely notice and pay the renewal fee, the agreement may continue on a month-to-month basis until terminated or renewed.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Floors To Go provides pre-opening assistance by delivering necessary racks, displays, and samples to convert a showroom to a Floors To Go Showroom. It also offers a store design consultant to help adapt the Floors To Go design package. Ongoing support includes selecting floor covering and window treatment products that meet quality standards, negotiating favorable pricing with vendors, and managing and disbursing advertising fees for system-wide marketing programs. Floors To Go creates and provides approved advertising materials such as artwork, print media, direct mail flyers, promotional materials, and audio/video presentations for local advertising at a reasonable cost. Floors To Go also uses reasonable efforts to maintain the system's reputation, product variety, and defend its trademarks. While Floors To Go does not offer an initial training program, it may periodically offer voluntary seminars on topics like sales, marketing, and retail management, and holds an annual convention that franchisees must attend. Floors To Go covers the registration fee for a franchisee's first convention, but franchisees pay for travel and lodging; subsequent conventions require a registration fee from the franchisee.
Ongoing Support
Floors To Go provides ongoing support by making seminars available on topics such as sales techniques, retail management, and new product offerings, though these are voluntary and franchisees are responsible for attendance costs. Floors To Go also holds annual conventions where franchisees must attend to discuss various business matters; the franchisee's first convention registration is covered by Floors To Go, but all other expenses and subsequent convention registration fees are the franchisee's responsibility. The conventions are held in a U.S. location chosen by Floors To Go. Additionally, Floors To Go selects products, negotiates vendor pricing, manages system-wide advertising funds, and provides approved marketing materials.
Franchise Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Floors To Go primarily seeks experienced owner/operators of existing floor covering stores as franchisees. The ideal candidate should be prepared to integrate the Floors To Go marketing and merchandising system into their current business, focusing on selling floor and window treatment products to consumers from their existing showroom. Floors To Go expects the franchisee or their showroom manager to devote full time to the management and operation of the Floors To Go System, implying a need for significant management and operational experience.

Territory Size Requirements
Floors To Go grants territorial rights identified in Schedule 'A' of the Membership Agreement. These territories are determined based on factors like population, traffic flow, business presence, competitor locations (including other showrooms), demographics, and other market conditions. If defined by a radius, it is measured from the approved Showroom. Otherwise, territory boundaries are typically designated by streets or city political boundaries existing when the Membership Agreement is signed. Floors To Go pledges not to open or license other traditional Floors To Go Showrooms within a franchisee's designated territory. However, Floors To Go retains the right to operate or authorize others to operate under the Floors To Go Marks through alternative channels, such as the Floors To Go Shop At Home program, within the franchisee's territory.
Staffing Notes
Floors To Go expects that either the franchisee or their designated Showroom manager will dedicate full-time effort to managing and operating the Floors To Go System. If the franchisee is a business entity, the Showroom manager does not need to have an ownership interest in the franchise. Floors To Go allows the franchisee to decide who manages the Showroom, provided the manager adheres to all applicable laws and maintains the goodwill associated with the Floors To Go System and its trademarks. Franchisees are responsible for ensuring that their managers comply with the Membership Agreement, including maintaining trade secrets and not competing with the Showroom.
