Litigation Summary
Fit Body Boot Camp faced a regulatory action in Rhode Island in September 2016 for an unregistered franchise sale that occurred in March 2014. The franchisor had inadvertently made an unregistered sale to a Rhode Island franchisee. In response to a Consent Order, Fit Body Boot Camp offered rescission to the franchisee, agreed not to violate the Rhode Island Retail Franchising Act in the future, and paid $4,000 in monetary penalties. The franchisee declined the rescission offer. The matter was dismissed in September 2016. Other than this, Fit Body Boot Camp has no other litigation to report.
