Territory Size Requirements
FIRE Fitness Camp® franchisees receive a Protected Territory, but there is no set minimum geographic size. The size and boundaries of the territory, which can range from a specific street address to a block, zip code, or a defined measurable area, are determined on a case-by-case basis. This determination depends on factors like consumer demographics and population size, which are assessed using demographic research. Territories in metropolitan areas are typically smaller than those in suburban or rural areas. The specific size of the Protected Territory is negotiated and agreed upon by the franchisee and FIRE Fitness Affiliation, LLC when a site for the franchise business is identified.
Staffing Notes
FIRE Fitness Camp® franchisees are required to maintain specific staffing levels and qualifications. Each location must always employ a General Fitness Manager who has successfully completed the franchisor's Initial Training and C.O.F.E. (Certification of FIRE Education) certification. This manager must dedicate their full time during normal business hours to the management, operation, and development of the FIRE Fitness Camp® business. In addition, at least two C.O.F.E. Certified coaches must be employed at all times. Failure to meet these staffing requirements or to notify FIRE Fitness Affiliation, LLC of any staff changes (e.g., termination or hiring of C.O.F.E. trained staff or General Fitness Manager) will result in a $100 per day fine. Furthermore, FIRE Fitness Affiliation, LLC assesses a $100 per day fine for failure to notify them of staff changes until the notification is received. All individuals conducting fitness sessions must obtain C.O.F.E. certification, which can be revoked or suspended by the franchisor. Children under 15 years old are prohibited from participating in sessions and from being unsupervised on the premises during operational hours.
