Renewal Conditions
To renew a Color Me Mine franchise, franchisees must provide written notice to Color Me Mine within a specified timeframe. They must be in good standing, meaning they have no outstanding defaults under their franchise agreement or other agreements, and have not received two or more default notices from Color Me Mine within the preceding 24 months. Franchisees are required to renovate and modernize their studio to meet current brand standards. They must also sign Color Me Mine's then-current franchise agreement and any related documents, which may contain materially different terms than their original agreement. Additionally, franchisees must demonstrate the right to operate at their location for the entire renewal term and ensure that they or their Studio Manager complete any required refresher training at their own expense. Finally, a general release of claims in Color Me Mine's prescribed form must be signed.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Color Me Mine provides extensive assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, Color Me Mine helps with site selection within an assigned area, requiring written acceptance of the proposed site and lease. It also provides specifications for the studio's color scheme, layout, and a list of approved suppliers for equipment, signs, fixtures, initial inventory, and supplies. Franchisees receive initial orientation and training on studio operations, which can be conducted at Color Me Mine's corporate headquarters, virtually, or at other designated locations, with no charge for the training itself (franchisees cover travel and lodging). Ongoing support includes regular updates to the Confidential Operations Manuals to reflect system changes. Color Me Mine ensures that approved suppliers are available for ceramic and craft products and will approve substitute products if necessary. It reviews requests from franchisees to use or sell additional products or products from unapproved suppliers. Color Me Mine may provide pricing guidelines for products and services. For advertising, Color Me Mine manages a system-wide Advertising Fund, currently funded by a 1% weekly contribution from gross revenues (which can increase up to 2%). This fund supports national, regional, and local marketing, advertising production, market research, website development, and public relations. Franchisees must also spend a minimum of $500 per month or 2% of gross revenues on local advertising and require approval for their own advertising materials. Technology support involves providing specifications for and requiring the use of specific Information Technology Systems, including a point-of-sale (POS) system, software for social media management, training, communication, and financial reporting. Franchisees must maintain high-speed internet access and use assigned email accounts and a designated website. A monthly technology fee, currently $239, covers software support, services, and technological improvements. Color Me Mine also provides access to proprietary Operations Manuals and offers optional continuing education programs and on-site assistance (franchisee reimburses travel, lodging and costs).

Training Location
Online, Mandeville, LA, Nashville-Metro, TN, or another designated location; also at the franchisee's location for new store opening.
Ongoing Support
Color Me Mine provides ongoing support to franchisees through regular updates to its Confidential Operations Manuals and ensures the availability of approved ceramic and craft product suppliers. It reviews requests for new products and suppliers and may offer pricing guidelines. While not obligated to establish these, Color Me Mine offers guidance for administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, and inventory control procedures, and can provide guidance on resolving operating problems or developing the business. The technology fee funds support for software, services, and technological improvements, including technology consulting, website hosting, data analysis programs, party booking services, in-studio music, social media management software, and email marketing services. Color Me Mine also offers optional or mandatory continuing education programs and requires franchisees to attend an annual meeting and regional workshops.

Territory Size Requirements
Color Me Mine territories are defined by identifiable boundaries and generally include a business, seasonal, or residential population count of at least 250,000 people, based on current available data. The boundaries are shaped at Color Me Mine's discretion, considering population criteria, customer convenience, traffic patterns, and natural geographic features like bodies of water or interstate highways. For unique trade areas such as rural or seasonal locations, the protected territory may have a population count of less than 250,000 people, but Color Me Mine has not established a specific minimum population for these areas.
Staffing Notes
Color Me Mine franchisees are solely responsible for all personnel management, including hiring, terminating, training, scheduling, disciplining, and setting wages and policies. Employee applications and forms must use the franchisee's legal business name as the sole employer, and employees must sign a statement acknowledging their employment by the franchisee, not Color Me Mine. Any support and initial training provided by Color Me Mine does not replace the franchisee's responsibility to train and supervise employees. Color Me Mine does not provide employee management services and suggests franchisees seek their own qualified employment and human resource consultants and payroll services. Franchisees must always maintain a staff of trained employees sufficient to operate the Color Me Mine business.
