Renewal Conditions

To renew their Bumper Man franchise, franchisees must provide Bumper Man, Inc. with written notice of their decision to renew at least six months before the initial term expires. Franchisees must be in good standing under their Franchise Agreement and any other agreements with Bumper Man, Inc. or its affiliates. They also need to complete any necessary repairs and upgrades to their Bumper Man vehicle to meet current standards and comply with current training requirements. Additionally, franchisees must sign Bumper Man, Inc.'s then-current form of franchise agreement, which may have different terms, and execute a general release of claims against Bumper Man, Inc. and its affiliates. Bumper Man, Inc. will waive the renewal fee if the franchisee promptly returns the current FDD receipt and signs the current franchise agreement 30 days before expiration, otherwise, the renewal fee is the greater of 3% of the then-current initial franchise fee or $1,000.

Bumper Man, Inc. defines the Designated Area for each Bumper Man franchise based on specific geographic and market factors. These factors include the number of Major Dealerships (authorized dealers of nationally recognized automobile brands or dealerships stocking at least 50 used vehicles each month), the number of regional and local dealerships, and the size and demographics of the local population. While a franchisee will not receive an exclusive territory, Bumper Man, Inc. commits not to operate or grant others the right to operate a Bumper Man repair services business within the franchisee's Designated Area. If demographics change significantly, Bumper Man, Inc. may reduce the Designated Area, ensuring it still contains a minimum of 35 Major Dealerships.
