Before opening, BUMBLE ROOFING provides franchisees with specifications for all initial equipment and vehicles, an initial training course, and a confidential operations manual. It also provides vehicle outfitting specifications and an initial art graphics package for business materials. BUMBLE ROOFING may, at its discretion, offer on-site assistance during the first months of operations. Ongoing assistance includes informing franchisees of mandatory operating standards, providing reasonable telephone support, researching new products and services, maintaining a National Branding & Marketing Fund, offering advertising materials, and providing bookkeeping services for a fee. Ongoing Support

BUMBLE ROOFING provides ongoing support to franchisees through various channels. This includes making representatives reasonably available by telephone during business hours to discuss operational experiences and support needs. BUMBLE ROOFING also researches new products, services, and methods, and shares information from this research. It maintains a National Branding & Marketing Fund to develop promotional and advertising programs for roofing businesses and provides access to advertising materials in the form of a graphics package. Additionally, BUMBLE ROOFING offers bookkeeping services for a fee. The franchisor may, at its discretion, provide additional assistance and may conduct continuing national, regional, or local conference calls, meetings, or mandatory annual conferences to discuss business-related topics.

Franchise Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

BUMBLE ROOFING seeks individuals who can directly supervise their roofing business. This supervision can be performed by the franchisee themselves or a designated business manager. Additionally, franchisees must have at least one designated individual working full-time in sales or administrative back-office services. If a franchisee lacks sufficient business experience, they must appoint a qualified designated business manager.

Territory Size Requirements

Each BUMBLE ROOFING franchise territory is defined by a designated geographical area with up to 100,000 single-family households. BUMBLE ROOFING uses the most recent U.S. Census Data or other statistical sources to determine household counts. If a franchisee is granted a territory exceeding 100,000 single-family households, they must pay an additional fee of $0.25 per household over that limit. BUMBLE ROOFING does not expect to grant single territories larger than 149,999 single-family households. Once established, the territory size will not change, regardless of future increases or decreases in single-family households.

Staffing Notes

BUMBLE ROOFING requires franchisees to directly supervise their business, which can be done by the franchisee or a Designated Business Manager. If the franchisee lacks sufficient business experience, a Designated Business Manager must be appointed and complete the initial training program. The business must also employ at least one designated individual full-time for sales or back-office administrative services. Franchisees are solely responsible for hiring, scheduling, supervising, compensating, and disciplining all employees, and must implement a training program to ensure staff can operate the business according to BUMBLE ROOFING's mandatory standards.
