Staffing Notes
Bojangles requires franchisees to maintain a competent, conscientious, and trained staff for their restaurants. Each franchised restaurant must always be under the direct, on-premises supervision of a Restaurant manager who has successfully completed Bojangles' initial training program. The required staff includes fully-trained managers, assistant managers, and shift leaders. The Designated Operator, who may also be an owner, must devote full-time effort to supervising and conducting the restaurants. For initial training, franchisees send between seven to nine people, in addition to their Managing Owner and Designated Operator, to Bojangles' initial training program, indicating a significant team is expected for new restaurant openings.
