Initial Term
5 years
Renewal Term
5 years
Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, BODYROK franchisees must provide written notice 120 days to 12 months before the current term ends. They must be solvent, not have abandoned their location, and not be operating the business in a way that endangers public health or safety or harms the BODYROK brand. Franchisees cannot have submitted false reports or been convicted of relevant felonies. They must have fully complied with the existing agreement and satisfied all financial obligations to BODYROK and its affiliates. Before or within 90 days of signing a new agreement, franchisees must remodel and upgrade their outlet and equipment to meet current brand standards. They also need to meet current franchisee qualifications, complete any required training, and sign a general release of claims against BODYROK. A renewal fee of $2,500 is also required. The new renewal agreement may have significantly different terms, including different fees and territory definitions.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Before opening, BODYROK provides initial training and orientation on the BODYROK system and operations. It designates the franchised territory, offers a suggested layout plan, and approves the proposed site for the outlet. BODYROK also provides a copy of its Confidential Operations Manual. Once operating, BODYROK approves any proposed advertising materials, provides access to and integrates information about the franchisee's outlet into the BODYROK website. BODYROK may, at its discretion, offer further assistance in person, by phone, or email. It may also conduct periodic sales and administrative review visits, with no fee if required by BODYROK, but a fee of up to $750 per day if optional or requested by the franchisee. Additionally, BODYROK holds mandatory system-wide meetings or annual conventions once a year.

Ongoing Support
After opening, BODYROK may, at its sole discretion, provide assistance with outlet operations, which can be in person, by telephone, or email, depending on staff availability. BODYROK may visit franchisees periodically for sales and administrative reviews. If these visits are required, no training fee is charged, but if requested by the franchisee, a fee of up to $750 per day plus expenses applies. BODYROK also conducts mandatory system-wide meetings or annual conventions (typically 3 days long) once a year, usually in California, which a principal owner must attend. BODYROK can recommend retail prices for services and products.
Franchise Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
BODYROK seeks franchisees whose principal owner either plans to actively participate in the direct management and operation of their initial outlet or has previous multi-unit operational experience. While a designated General Manager and Key Trainer must always be on duty, principal equity owners are not required to personally be on-premises for daily management. The principal owner is responsible for managing additional outlets opened under an Area Development Agreement but doesn't need to directly operate them.

Each BODYROK territory is exclusive and defined by population density, typically ranging from a quarter-mile radius in densely populated urban areas to two miles in rural areas.
Staffing Notes
BODYROK requires franchisees to employ at least one designated General Manager and one Key Trainer who have successfully completed the initial training program. If the franchisee is a sole proprietor, they can fulfill these roles. The General Manager and Key Trainer must work full-time during normal business hours, dedicating their efforts to the management, operation, and development of the franchised business. They cannot have business relationships with competitors. All instructors must attend BODYROK's instructor training before teaching classes. BODYROK does not provide assistance with hiring, supervising, or discharging employees, but strongly recommends engaging an attorney for employment law matters.
