To renew their franchise agreement, Board & Brush Creative Studio franchisees must be in full compliance with their current agreement, having had no more than three defaults during the term. They need to provide written notice at least six months before the current term expires, pay a nonrefundable Successor Agreement Fee of $2,500, and sign a new franchise agreement which may have different terms. Franchisees must also continue to have the right to occupy their current studio premises or obtain approval to relocate, remodel their studio to meet current brand standards, execute a general release of claims against the franchisor, and comply with all then-current qualifications and training requirements, including completing additional training.
