To renew their agreement, Bevaris Alliance franchisees must provide written notice to the franchisor 6 to 8 months before their initial term ends. They must pay a renewal fee equal to 10% of Bevaris Alliance's then-current initial franchise fee. Additionally, franchisees must have no outstanding material breaches of their agreement, must have consistently performed their obligations to Bevaris Alliance's satisfaction, and must ensure their business meets Bevaris Alliance's current requirements. Bevaris Alliance provides comprehensive assistance to its franchisees. Before opening, Bevaris Alliance helps with setting up the branded business, including operational guidelines, initial inventory supply, identifying and approving the location, and providing access to the Bevaris Alliance Manual. They also specify required computer hardware and software and offer an initial training program for the franchisee and up to two other key management individuals. After opening, Bevaris Alliance provides free training at a designated site and two days of onsite training covering operation, management, marketing, sales, and product handling. Bevaris Alliance requires franchisees to employ a sufficient number of high-quality employees to fulfill their obligations and meet customer demand, as outlined in the Manual. All employees must be dressed in uniforms specified by Bevaris Alliance, maintain cleanliness, and be polite. Franchisees cannot employ a manager who has not successfully completed Bevaris Alliance's training course and received approval from the franchisor. The franchisee's business cannot commence operations until all relevant employees are trained. If any employee fails training, it must be repeated until successfully completed. Bevaris Alliance ensures that employees are clearly represented as employees of the franchisee, not the franchisor, and prohibits the engagement or use of independent contractors. Additionally, a manager approved by Bevaris Alliance must spend the majority of their time operating the franchisee's business. If this manager leaves, the franchisee must recruit a new approved manager within 30 days and manage the business themselves until a replacement is hired and trained.
