Financial Health Notes
Amazing Lash Franchise, LLC's Franchise Disclosure Document explicitly states that its own financial condition raises questions about its ability to provide services and support to franchisees. However, the company provides the audited financial statements of its affiliate, Elements Therapeutic Massage, LLC (ETM), which has issued an absolute and unconditional guarantee for Amazing Lash Franchise, LLC's obligations. ETM reported positive net income for the past three years: $248,456 in 2024, $138,317 in 2023, and $1,164,956 in 2022. ETM also demonstrates strong working capital, with current assets of $42.7 million compared to current liabilities of $2.8 million in 2024. The company does have a significant long-term debt of $21.4 million in 2024, which is part of a larger joint and several liability with its parent affiliates totaling over $56 million. This debt's maturity was extended from September 2024 to March 2027 in 2024, and the parent company, WBZ Investment LLC, has made a $10 million principal payment and is reported to be in compliance with all financial covenants. Despite the initial concern noted for Amazing Lash Franchise, LLC itself, the guarantee from ETM, with its positive financial performance and working capital, aims to provide financial backing.

Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
Amazing Lash Studio provides its franchisees with comprehensive assistance both before and after their Studio opens. Pre-opening, Amazing Lash Studio helps with reviewing proposed sites and leases, and provides mandatory and suggested specifications for Studio development, including design, layout, and equipment. Franchisees receive access to the Operations Manual and initial training for themselves (or their Operating Partner) and a Designated Manager. Before opening, Amazing Lash Studio also assists with the Grand Opening Spend Requirement, which is a $20,000 fee used by the franchisor for pre-opening marketing and recruiting. Franchisees are required to participate in various pre-opening marketing and promotional activities, including selling memberships, completing a sales training series, and attending on-site training. The franchisor may send a training team for 5-7 days and an operations team for 3-6 days to new Studios for on-site support. For existing Studios that are transferred, virtual support is provided, and an on-site training team may be sent for up to three days. On an ongoing basis, Amazing Lash Studio offers general guidance based on reports and inspections, and administers the Brand Marketing Fund. Franchisees contribute 2% of their Gross Receipts to this fund (which can increase to 4%), and the franchisor manages national, regional, and local marketing, advertising, and promotional programs, including website development and online campaigns. Franchisees also have a Local Marketing Spend Requirement of at least $2,000 per month for digital advertising, plus an additional 2% of Gross Receipts for approved local marketing. Amazing Lash Studio may establish marketing cooperatives which franchisees are required to join. Franchisees are required to use a specific Computer System (hardware, software, point-of-sale) for which they pay a monthly Technology Fee. The franchisor can modify this system, and franchisees are responsible for its maintenance and upgrades. Amazing Lash Studio provides access to an Operations Manual, which contains System Standards and procedures, and may be updated periodically. Beyond initial training, Amazing Lash Studio requires franchisees and their managers to attend annual franchise owner conferences, regional meetings, and various other training courses, trade shows, and webinars. Franchisees must also hire a Lash Stylist Trainer who completes the franchisor's LST Program, and their front desk staff and stylists receive specific training. Amazing Lash Studio may offer an optional (or later mandatory) manager training program. The franchisor may also provide additional or special guidance or training upon request, which may incur a fee.

Territory Size Requirements
Amazing Lash Studio defines territories in different ways depending on the type of agreement. For single-studio franchisees, an initial non-exclusive "Search Territory" is agreed upon for site identification, which can span a portion of a city, an unincorporated area, or a multi-county area. Once a specific studio location is approved, it is granted a "Protected Area." This Protected Area is typically a circular area with a 1.5-mile radius centered on the studio's front door. In densely populated urban environments, the Protected Area's boundaries might be determined by political subdivisions, streets, or ZIP codes, and could be the lesser of a 1.5-mile radius or an area with a population density of 50,000 people. For area developers, a broader "Development Area" is designated, with its boundaries described using map coordinates, city limits, counties, or states. The size of this Development Area is determined by Amazing Lash Studio based on various factors like demographics, traffic patterns, competition, and site availability.
Staffing Notes
Amazing Lash Studio franchisees must staff their locations with specific roles and ensure appropriate training and licensing. If the franchisee or their Operating Partner chooses not to supervise the studio full-time, a "Designated Manager" is required to work full-time, overseeing daily operations after completing the franchisor's Training Program. Each Amazing Lash Studio must hire and continuously maintain a "Lash Stylist Trainer" who has completed the franchisor's specialized Lash Stylist Trainer (LST) program. This trainer is responsible for teaching Amazing Lash Studio techniques, product and tool utilization, and the brand's training philosophy to other stylists. Lash Stylist Trainers should be hired at least six weeks before a new studio opens, or complete their LST Program within 30 days of the opening date. Front desk staff, known as "Lash Consultants," and other stylists must also complete specific training requirements, which typically involve electronic training courses and practicing the studio's scheduling and point-of-sale system. All stylists must be properly licensed in their respective jurisdictions, and all employees are subject to background checks and confidentiality, non-competition, and non-solicitation agreements as specified by Amazing Lash Studio.
