Renewal Conditions

To renew, ALL DOGS UNLEASHED franchisees must notify the franchisor of their intent to renew between 12 months and 180 days before the current term expires. They must be in full compliance with the franchise agreement throughout the term and satisfy all financial obligations to ALL DOGS UNLEASHED, its affiliates, and third-party suppliers. Franchisees are required to renovate and refurbish their facility to meet the franchisor's then-current standards and demonstrate their right to possess the facility premises or secure an approved alternate site. They must also comply with current qualifications and training requirements, sign a general release of claims in favor of ALL DOGS UNLEASHED, and execute a new successor franchise agreement, which may contain materially different terms. A renewal fee, equivalent to 25% of the then-current initial franchise fee, is also required.

Before opening, ALL DOGS UNLEASHED assists with site selection by approving or denying proposed locations within 30 days of receiving the necessary information. For Area Development Agreements, Development Areas are typically defined by zip codes, streets, city, county, or state limits, with the number of facilities adjusted based on demographics like population density and other characteristics of the surrounding area.

Staffing Notes

Each ALL DOGS UNLEASHED Commercial Training Facility must be supervised on-premises by an Operating Principal, who, unless a General Manager is appointed, must devote their full time and best efforts to supervising operations and may not engage in any other business. Franchisees may designate a General Manager to supervise Facility operations, who must also dedicate full-time efforts to the business. Additionally, an Assistant General Manager must be designated and approved to assist in supervision. The Operating Principal, General Manager (if applicable), and Assistant Manager are required to attend and successfully complete ALL DOGS UNLEASHED's initial training program, which is held over a two-week period at the corporate headquarters or a designated location. The training covers program overview, financial and operational review, marketing strategies, daily administration, operations management, scheduling and staff oversight, client communication, facility maintenance, program training, quality assurance, inventory management, equipment use, behavioral training, and safety procedures. ALL DOGS UNLEASHED provides three days of on-site training assistance. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining a competent, trained staff and ensuring all trainers and personnel adhere to appearance and dress standards. ALL DOGS UNLEASHED emphasizes that franchisees are solely responsible for all hiring, wages, benefits, and labor relations.
