The Canadian parent company, 30 Minute Hit, LTD, was formally established in June 2006 and started offering 30 MINUTE HIT® Gym franchises in Canada in July 2006. 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, was formed on March 16, 2010, and is owned by its Canadian parent. Financial Health Notes
30 Minute Hit USA, LLC's financial statements show that the company has been operating at a loss for the past two years, with a net loss of $18,446 in 2024 and $12,789 in 2023. The company also has a growing negative Member's Deficit, which means its liabilities are greater than its assets. In 2024, the working capital (current assets minus current liabilities) was $71,546. Despite these financial challenges, management does not believe there is substantial doubt about 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC's ability to continue operating, as the parent company intends to provide financing for any temporary cash needs. However, the FDD document itself explicitly points out that 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC's financial condition, as shown in its financial statements, raises questions about its ability to provide franchisees with the necessary services and support.
Financing Details
30 Minute Hit does not offer any direct or indirect financing options to prospective franchisees. This means that 30 Minute Hit will not lend money or help guarantee loans for things like equipment, the initial franchise fee, or working capital. Franchisees will need to arrange their own funding through banks or other lenders, and 30 Minute Hit will not be responsible for those financial obligations.

Renewal Conditions
To renew their franchise agreement, 30 Minute Hit franchisees must meet several conditions. They can renew their franchise for four additional terms of five years each, provided they have largely followed the rules of their original agreement and are considered in "good standing." Here's what 30 Minute Hit franchisees need to do for renewal: 1. They must either continue to occupy their current gym location or find and secure an alternative site that 30 Minute Hit approves. 2. They will need to update, remodel, or expand their gym, and replace any improvements, equipment, or signs to meet 30 Minute Hit's current brand standards and specifications. 3. They must sign a new franchise agreement and any related documents. It's important to know that this new agreement might have terms and conditions that are notably different from their original agreement. 4. They must successfully complete any new training or refresher programs that 30 Minute Hit requires. 5. They are required to pay a renewal fee, which is 25% of the initial franchise fee that 30 Minute Hit is charging for new franchises at that time. 6. They must sign a legal document called a "general release," which essentially means they give up any and all claims they might have against 30 Minute Hit. 30 Minute Hit states that the boundaries of the franchisee's exclusive operating area (called the "Designated Area") will stay the same upon renewal. Also, the royalty fee charged upon renewal will not be higher than what other renewing franchisees in similar situations are paying.
Training & Support Program
Franchisor Assistance
30 Minute Hit USA, LLC provides extensive support to its franchisees both before and after their gyms open. Before opening, 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC helps franchisees with finding a suitable location by providing site selection criteria and approving proposed sites. They offer prototype design plans and layouts for the gym, and can recommend architects and provide information to assist in developing the gym according to their standards. They also specify what fixtures, equipment, and supplies are needed, and identify approved suppliers for these items, including those provided by 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC or its affiliates. Franchisees receive comprehensive initial training, called Owner Training, which is typically up to 10 days long and covers all aspects of gym operations, including circuit instruction, the 30 Minute Hit system, and general management. They also assist with grand opening advertising and provide the initial equipment package and certain branded retail products. Once a gym is open, 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC offers ongoing guidance on operations, including advice based on submitted reports and inspections. This includes support on operating procedures, purchasing, supplier use, advertising strategies, employee training, and accounting. They continuously update and modify their operating Manuals, which are accessible online, to reflect the latest System Standards. Franchisees can request additional operational assistance or training, though these services may incur extra fees. 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC maintains the right to inspect and monitor gym operations, including taking samples and interviewing staff and customers, to ensure compliance with standards. They manage a System Development Fund to support system-wide marketing and promotion efforts. Furthermore, 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC specifies and may provide technology systems, including point-of-sale software and hardware, and online reporting tools, and they oversee a "Power Leads" program for lead generation. They also provide bi-weekly "Hitting it Hard Training" sessions for ongoing workout technique development and evaluate staff training.

Ongoing Support
After a 30 Minute Hit gym opens, franchisees receive continuous guidance regarding the gym's operations, which is based on reports submitted by the franchisee or inspections conducted by the franchisor. This guidance covers standards, specifications, operating procedures, purchasing, marketing, employee training, and administrative tasks. This information is shared through the online operations manual, bulletins, other written materials, telephone conversations, or in-person consultations at the franchisor's office or the gym. 30 Minute Hit also offers "Hitting it Hard Training" sessions approximately every two weeks, which are delivered online or through other electronic methods. Additionally, the company conducts evaluations of the franchisee's staff training through electronic media like Skype, with a $75 fee charged for each individual evaluation. While other in-person operating assistance or additional training beyond the initial program can be provided if requested or deemed necessary, these services come with extra costs. Franchisees would be responsible for an operating assistance fee of up to $1,000 per day, plus travel and living expenses. Additional training, if required or requested, can cost up to $1,200 per trainer per day, plus associated expenses. The online operations manual is regularly updated and revised to reflect changes in brand standards, and franchisees are expected to monitor these updates. 30 Minute Hit also has the right to manage a system-wide fund for advertising and marketing, though currently, the monthly contribution to this fund is $0, it can be increased up to 3% of the gym's gross sales in the future. The franchisor performs inspections of the gym's operations and records to ensure compliance with the established brand standards.
Franchise Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
30 Minute Hit seeks individuals or business entities whose principal owners are willing to make a significant investment, ranging from $145,350 to $342,950 for a single unit. These prospective franchisees must be capable of securing all financing independently, as 30 Minute Hit does not offer direct or indirect financing or loan guarantees. A key qualification is a commitment to direct operational oversight: at least one owner with a minimum of 50% ownership must serve as the full-time General Manager, actively managing the day-to-day operations of the 30 Minute Hit Gym. This General Manager should have a substantial background in managing and operating physical fitness, self-defense training, or similar businesses in a supervisory role, demonstrating the capacity to effectively run the gym and train staff.

Territory Size Requirements
30 Minute Hit USA, LLC defines a franchisee's Designated Area, which is typically a geographic region determined by mutual agreement or an approximate 10-minute drive time around the approved gym location. While there's no fixed formula for defining the shape or size, the franchisor usually requires that the proposed site and Designated Area have a minimum population of 30,000 people, which can include residents, business visitors, employees, seasonal residents, and tourists. For franchisees operating under an Area Development Agreement, the Development Area is typically defined by zip codes or other boundaries like streets, city, county, or state limits. The size and number of gyms within these Development Areas can be adjusted based on factors like population density, income, natural boundaries, and local competition. While franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory in the traditional sense, 30 Minute Hit USA, LLC will not establish another fixed-location 30 MINUTE HIT® Gym from a fixed location within a franchisee's Designated Area as long as the franchisee complies with their agreement, with an exception for "Non-Public Access Venues" like private businesses or military bases. However, the franchisor retains rights to market and sell products through alternative channels, including online, within any Designated Area without compensation to the franchisee.
Staffing Notes
A 30 Minute Hit Gym requires an owner with at least 50% ownership to serve as the full-time General Manager, who will directly oversee the gym's operations. This General Manager needs to have substantial experience managing physical fitness, self-defense training, or similar businesses in a supervisory role. Unless specifically approved for off-site supervision, either this General Manager or a qualified Gym Manager (an employee who meets 30 Minute Hit's System Standards and has completed gym training) must be present on-site during all operating hours. 30 Minute Hit expects its franchisees to hire, train, and supervise all other staff members, including trainers, in line with the brand's System Standards and all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws. Although 30 Minute Hit does not get involved in hiring or employment disputes, it provides initial and ongoing online training for all staff, and evaluates staff training to ensure compliance with its operational requirements. All trainers are required to complete designated training programs, and franchisees are responsible for ensuring their staff and managers receive proper training.
